Public crypto wallets of well-known personalities are attracting a lot of attention, and recently disclosed data allows for a better understanding of the amounts of cryptocurrency held by industry leaders.

Justin Sun

Tron founder Justin Sun turned out to be one of the largest cryptocurrency holders. According to Arkham Intelligence, his cryptocurrency assets amount to around $1.03 billion. The majority of these funds are concentrated in USDD stablecoins, with a value of $276.54 million. Additionally, Sun owns $239.49 million in Tron (TRX) cryptocurrency and $117.53 million in BitTorrent (BTT) tokens. His portfolio also includes bitcoins (BTC) amounting to $98.88 million.

Vitalik Buterin

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, holds crypto assets worth $935.25 million. The majority of his funds are stored in ether (ETH), totaling $931.33 million. Buterin also has $988,890 in STRK tokens and around $942,640 in wrapped ethereum (WETH).

Other notable personalities also have significant cryptocurrency assets. South African developer Andre Cronje, founder of Yearn Finance and director of the Fantom Foundation, controls $3.54 million in digital assets. The bulk of his holdings — $3.33 million — are in SDAI stablecoin. Coinbase co-founder Brian Armstrong holds cryptocurrency worth $1.45 million, mainly in the form of 295,841 ETH, equivalent to $1.12 million. He also has HXA tokens worth $289,210.

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams owns cryptocurrency worth $125,352, while MakerDAO’s Rune Christensen holds around $12,785 in ETH and other tokens. Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban has cryptocurrency assets worth $261,702.

Celebrities in the entertainment industry are also actively investing in cryptocurrency. Justin Bieber has $575,011, mainly in ether (ETH), although at the beginning of 2022 his assets amounted to $1.1 million. Snoop Dogg, who owned around $2.8 million in cryptocurrency in April 2022, now has only $2,511. These figures highlight how quickly fortunes can change in the world of cryptocurrency.
