Survey Shows American Investors Favor Cryptocurrencies Over Traditional Assets

According to the results of a new survey conducted by Kraken, American investors are increasingly leaning towards investing in cryptocurrencies, preferring them to traditional assets. The survey, which involved 2,191 people over the age of 18, showed that 73% of cryptocurrency owners plan to increase their investments in digital assets in 2025. Of these, 45% expressed confidence in continuing their investments, while 29% reported the likelihood of doing so.

Changing Perspectives on Investment Opportunities

Interestingly, 36% of respondents believe that cryptocurrencies have greater growth potential compared to stocks, bonds, and real estate. While 34% see the greatest prospects in stocks, only 13% consider bonds promising, and 17% are confident in the growth of the real estate market. At the same time, 70% of respondents prefer Bitcoin, while only 12% believe in meme coins, and 17% are interested in assets like Solana (SOL).

Increased Confidence in Digital Assets

Researchers noted that the survey results indicate that American investors are becoming increasingly experienced and mature in their approach to investing. They see cryptocurrencies as an opportunity to achieve higher returns compared to traditional investment instruments, reflecting growing confidence in the future of digital assets.
