American writer and businessman Robert Kiyosaki shares his thoughts on the BRICS cryptocurrency

American writer and businessman Robert Kiyosaki expressed the opinion that the possible introduction of the BRICS cryptocurrency could lead to a significant decline in the exchange rate of the US dollar. Kiyosaki, who is currently in South Africa, is actively following discussions related to the plans of the BRICS countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa — to create their own cryptocurrency. He noted that such a currency may be backed by gold.

According to Kiyosaki, if the BRICS cryptocurrency does indeed emerge, it could lead to the return of huge amounts of counterfeit dollars to the United States. As a result, according to his forecasts, hyperinflation may begin in America, ultimately leading to the destruction of the dollar.

To prepare for a potential crisis, Kiyosaki advises investing in gold, silver, and bitcoins. He believes that these assets, unlike fiat currencies, will retain their value over time and protect against inflation.

However, it is worth noting that Kiyosaki’s opinions may be premature. Last year, representatives of the BRICS countries did discuss the idea of creating a gold-backed cryptocurrency to facilitate trade settlement between states. However, the negotiations did not lead to concrete results, and instead, countries began to promote the use of their national currencies — rubles, rupees, and yuan — for such purposes. Thus, if the BRICS cryptocurrency is introduced, it may not happen in the near future.
